Trust and privacy model

How trust and accountability work on Ntros.

This is where communication boundaries, visibility rules, and accountability come together when you evaluate a professional.

How communication works

All communication starts in the app. When you're ready to share contact details directly, that's your choice.

Ntros rules

You should always know who can see what, and why.

We have strict rules in place so you get the benefits of trusted recommendations while staying in control of your information.

QuestionNtros ruleUser impact

Do businesses see my phone number?

Communication shield

Initial communication starts in the app. Your personal contact details stay hidden until you decide to share them.

You can ask for quotes and compare options without giving out your personal contact details.

Can anyone browse my profile?

Hidden by default

Your profile is a private tool for managing your home. You cannot be searched or casually browsed by strangers.

You get the benefit of hiring recommendations from people you know without offering up a public profile.

Will strangers ask me for introductions?

Strict consent

Introduction requests require explicit approval before contact is opened between people who are not already connected.

You stay in control of whether your relationships are used for an introduction.

Is this just 'pay-to-play' in disguise?

Evidence over ads

Results are driven by fit for the job, people you know, and practical trust signals — not paid placement.

You hire based on who can help and which familiar connections support the choice, not who paid the most to rank first.

Hidden by default

Your profile acts purely as a private tool to manage your home. You cannot be searched, indexed, or casually browsed by strangers.

Complete control over what's seen

You dictate which information is shared. When overlapping rules conflict, the platform automatically defaults to your strictest possible privacy setting.

Communication shielding

All early communication happens within the platform. Your phone number stays hidden until you choose to share it, so asking for a quote doesn't mean giving out your number.

Reliability and accountability

Reliability matters here. Businesses that communicate clearly and follow through are easier for homeowners to trust.

Separate personal and business roles

If you also run a business on the platform, your personal use and business role stay distinct. Your activity at home does not blur into your work.
